What CloudTalk does
CloudTalk is a business phone system that runs entirely in the browser and on desktop and mobile apps, so a team can make and take calls without on-premise hardware. It provides local numbers in more than 160 countries, call recording, number porting, and SMS and WhatsApp messaging alongside voice. Day to day, a sales team uses it to dial prospects and log the results automatically, while a support team uses it to route incoming calls to the right person.
The inbound side is built around a Call Flow Designer, where you lay out how a call is handled — voice menus, queues, ring groups, and routing rules — without writing code. Supervisors can monitor calls live and listen in. On the outbound side there are preview, power, and parallel dialing modes, with answering-machine detection and pre-recorded voicemail drop; the parallel dialer can run up to ten lines at once.
The AI layer sits on top of the calls themselves. Calls are transcribed in multiple languages, then summarised and tagged automatically, scored against criteria you define, and analysed for sentiment and recurring topics. Notes generated from a call can sync back into a CRM so reps are not retyping what was just said. Separately, CloudTalk sells AI voice agents that answer calls outright — an AI Receptionist for answering and routing, and AI Specialist agents aimed at tasks like appointment scheduling, lead qualification, and after-hours cover.
Key capabilities
Cloud phone system
Local numbers across 160-plus countries, call recording, number porting, and international SMS and WhatsApp, all from browser, desktop, or mobile apps.
No-code call routing
Design how inbound calls are handled with a visual Call Flow Designer covering voice menus, queues, ring groups, and routing rules.
Outbound dialing modes
Preview, power, and parallel dialing with answering-machine detection and voicemail drop; the parallel dialer runs up to ten lines simultaneously.
AI call intelligence
Multi-language transcription, automatic summaries and tagging, call scoring, sentiment analysis, and topic extraction across recorded conversations.
AI voice agents
Optional agents that answer calls themselves — a receptionist for answering and routing, plus specialist agents for scheduling, qualification, and after-hours cover.
CRM and helpdesk integrations
Connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zendesk, Intercom, Zapier and Make among more than a hundred integrations, so call notes land where the team already works.
Best for
- Sales teams doing high call volume who want dialing modes and automatic call logging rather than manual dialing and note-taking
- Support teams that need inbound routing, queues, and voice menus they can change themselves without a telecoms vendor
- Businesses selling or supporting across borders that need local numbers in many countries from one system
- Teams already running HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Zendesk who want call activity to appear there automatically
- Companies considering an AI agent to cover calls outside office hours, but wanting the human phone system in place first
Worth knowing
- The headline per-seat price is not the whole cost. Plans run from about EUR 19 to EUR 49 per user per month on annual billing, but the power dialer, parallel dialer, and AI conversation intelligence are each priced as separate per-user add-ons — work out which of those you actually need before comparing against other quotes.
- The AI voice agents are a distinct product line with their own pricing, starting around EUR 99 a month for a bundle of included minutes. If having calls answered automatically is your main goal, price that separately rather than assuming it comes with a seat.
- The top Expert tier requires a minimum of three users, so a very small team cannot buy into it.
- Pricing is published in euros, so confirm the billing currency and how it lands on your card or invoice if you are budgeting in another currency.
- This is a broad platform covering outbound dialing, inbound routing, messaging, and conversation analytics. If your problem is narrowly that inbound calls go unanswered, a smaller solution aimed only at that may be quicker to adopt and cheaper to run.
Most businesses looking at CloudTalk are really trying to stop leads leaking out of missed calls. If that is the problem, start with where your leads are actually going — it puts a number on what the missed calls cost before you pick a solution.
