What Centime does

Centime is a finance automation platform that covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and business banking in a single system. Rather than stitching together separate solutions, finance teams can manage the full invoice-to-payment and invoice-to-collection cycle from one place, with data flowing directly into their existing ERP or accounting software.

On the AP side, the platform uses OCR and AI to capture invoice data, predict header and line-level coding, match purchase orders, and route invoices through configurable approval workflows before payment. On the AR side, AI-powered collection workflows automate follow-ups, while a customer portal and lockbox services handle electronic and check payments. Both sides feed into a 13-week cash-flow forecast that uses machine-learning payment-delay predictions to project liquidity.

Expense management is handled through an integration with Fyle, allowing employees to submit expenses from mobile and finance teams to enforce spending policies automatically. An optional business banking layer — provided by FNBO, Member FDIC — adds features like high-yield checking, insured cash sweep for deposits above FDIC limits, and cross-bank transfers. Centime connects natively to QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key capabilities

AI Invoice Capture and Coding

OCR combined with AI reads incoming invoices and predicts the correct general-ledger coding at both the header and line level, reducing manual data entry before invoices enter the approval queue.

Configurable AP Approval Workflows

Teams can build approval policies and exception-resolution workflows to match their own business rules, then pay approved invoices in a single step with optional virtual-card rebates.

AI-Driven AR Collections

Automated collection workflows proactively follow up on outstanding invoices based on configurable campaigns and AI-powered sequencing, with the goal of reducing days sales outstanding.

13-Week Cash-Flow Forecasting

Machine-learning models predict payment delays on both the payables and receivables sides, feeding a rolling short-term cash forecast that can be used to model scenarios and plan liquidity.

Integrated Expense Management

Powered by Fyle, the expense module supports mobile submission, automatic policy enforcement, and syncing with the connected accounting system; it is free for Centime Card users subject to minimum spend requirements.

ERP-Embedded Operation

The platform works directly inside QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, so finance teams do not need to log into a separate system to manage payables and receivables.

Best for

  • Finance teams that manage both AP and AR and want a single platform rather than separate point solutions for each.
  • Companies already running QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 who need automation that embeds in their existing ERP.
  • Organizations spending significant staff time on manual invoice entry, coding, and collections follow-up where AI-assisted automation could reduce that workload.
  • Businesses that need short-term cash-flow visibility and want forecasts built from live AP and AR data rather than spreadsheets.
  • Teams that would benefit from tying AP payments, AR collections, and cash positioning into one reporting view without building custom integrations.

Worth knowing

  • Pricing is based on monthly invoice volume for AP and AR modules, so costs will scale with transaction activity — get a volume-based quote before comparing total cost against narrower point solutions.
  • Implementation is estimated at two to four weeks, which requires dedicated time from your finance and IT teams during setup and ERP connection — plan for that resource commitment.
  • The platform is designed around QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365; if your accounting system falls outside that list, native integration may not be available.
  • Business banking features are provided by FNBO (Member FDIC), not by Centime directly — evaluate the banking layer separately if that is a primary requirement rather than a complementary one.
  • If your needs are limited to just one function — AP only or AR only — a narrower specialist solution may offer a simpler fit and a more straightforward cost model than an all-in-one suite.
