What Taskade does

Taskade brings task management, project tracking, mind maps, and AI-powered automation into a single workspace. Rather than switching between separate tools for planning, communication, and automation, teams can handle all of it in one place. It connects with apps like Slack, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Notion, and Zapier, so it can sit alongside tools you already use.

The platform includes AI agents — automated assistants you can configure to handle recurring work, research, or process steps. These agents can be embedded on a website or shared via a public link, and they maintain memory across sessions so they retain context over time. Workflows can branch, loop, and retry automatically, and agents can trigger those workflows through a conversational prompt.

Taskade also offers a set of pre-built templates and cloneable app systems — including CRMs, dashboards, client portals, and trackers — that you can copy and adapt rather than build from scratch. The vendor reports over 100,000 apps built on the platform and more than 500,000 agents deployed, giving a reasonable indication of adoption scale.

Key capabilities

Task and project management

Organise work across tasks, projects, and mind maps in a shared workspace. Seven different views let teams see the same work in the format that suits them.

AI agents with persistent memory

Build and deploy AI agents that remember context across sessions and can be assigned different models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Agents can be embedded on your website or shared publicly without code.

Workflow automation

Create automations with branching, looping, and filtering logic across 100-plus integrations. Workflows retry automatically, and agents can trigger them through a conversational prompt.

Cloneable apps and dashboards

Copy pre-built systems — CRMs, finance dashboards, client portals, inventory trackers — and adapt them to your own data. This reduces setup time compared with building from scratch.

Multi-model AI support

Assign a different AI model to each agent from a selection of 15-plus models across OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini. You are not locked into a single provider.

Broad integration support

Connects with Slack, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Notion, Zapier, and over 100 other apps including Stripe, GitHub, and Airtable.

Best for

  • Small teams or solo operators who want task management, project tracking, and workflow automation in one tool rather than several separate subscriptions.
  • Business owners who want to deploy AI agents for repetitive tasks — such as customer queries or content research — without hiring a developer.
  • Teams that need to stand up internal tools like CRMs, dashboards, or client portals quickly using cloneable templates rather than custom builds.
  • Operations roles looking to automate recurring processes across tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Stripe without heavy technical setup.
  • Agencies or founders who need branded client-facing portals or embeddable AI assistants on a limited budget.

Worth knowing

  • The free plan limits automations to three workflows and provides a restricted number of AI credits — teams with significant automation needs will need to upgrade to Pro ($10/month billed annually, up to 10 users) or Business ($25/month, unlimited users).
  • Pro is capped at 10 users; fast-growing teams should factor the jump to Business pricing into their planning from the start.
  • Taskade covers a wide surface area — tasks, agents, automations, and app building. Teams that only need a simple task manager may find the feature set broader than required, and a lighter tool could be a better fit.
  • AI agent quality depends on how well you configure prompts, tools, and training data. Some internal setup time should be expected even though the vendor describes implementation as under one week.
  • If your primary need is a standalone CRM, dedicated HR system, or advanced analytics platform, a purpose-built tool is likely to offer deeper functionality than Taskade's cloneable templates.

How Taskade compares

Taskade competes with larger work platforms on breadth but prices by team rather than per seat. The question is how much structure, scale and per-user tooling you need — and whether you want agents and portals in the same place as tasks.

vs ClickUp

ClickUp is a per-user project platform — sprints, Gantt charts, dashboards, time tracking and ClickUp Brain — from $7 per user a month. Taskade is lighter, adds mind maps, embeddable agents and cloneable apps, and prices by team. Growing teams that need deep project tooling lean to ClickUp; small teams on a budget lean to Taskade.

vs Monday.com

Monday.com is built around visual boards and dashboards across functions, with admin permissions and an activity log for its AI agents, at $12–$19 per seat with a three-seat minimum. Taskade is the cheaper, more informal option, with agents you can embed on a website or share by public link. Choose Monday.com for governed, board-first operations; Taskade for a small team's all-in-one.

vs Notion AI

Notion AI adds writing, workspace Q&A and scheduled agents to a Notion workspace, with full AI on Business at $20 per member, and is most useful where docs already live in Notion. Taskade is task- and agent-first, with workflow automation and cloneable apps. If Notion is already your home, start there; if not, Taskade is a self-contained alternative.

vs Softr

Softr is a no-code builder for client portals, internal tools and CRMs with its own database, roles and logins, from $19 a month on Basic. Taskade also offers cloneable portals and CRMs, but as templates inside a task workspace. If a customer-facing app with logins is the goal, choose Softr; if the goal is running team work, Taskade.
