What Intelligems does
Intelligems is a testing and optimization platform built specifically for direct-to-consumer Shopify stores. It lets you run controlled experiments on product prices, shipping rates, discounts, free-shipping thresholds, landing page content, and checkout elements — covering the full on-site journey from first visit through post-purchase.
The platform includes Atlas, an AI assistant connected to Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. Atlas surfaces experiment ideas based on your store data, helps build tests through a visual editor without requiring developer time, and answers questions about results in plain language so anyone on the team can interpret what happened and act on it.
Setup runs through a Shopify app install, and the vendor estimates you can go from install to a live first test in the first week. Audience targeting lets you segment visitors by traffic source, device, Klaviyo segment, and other custom signals, so you can serve different experiences to different visitor groups rather than testing one version against your entire audience.
Key capabilities
Price and offer testing
Run A/B tests on product prices, subscription prices, multi-currency settings, discounts, progress bars, and gift-with-purchase offers to find the combinations that improve profit per visitor.
Shipping rate experiments
Test shipping rates, free-shipping thresholds, and delivery options as controllable variables rather than fixed cost assumptions.
Content and merchandising tests
Edit landing pages, on-site content, themes, and checkout elements — including recommended products and urgency messaging — using a visual builder that does not require code changes.
Atlas AI assistant
Atlas recommends what to test next based on your data, helps construct experiments in the visual builder from a plain-language description, and answers analytics questions in chat so non-analysts can get answers without waiting on a data team.
Audience segmentation
Target experiments by traffic source, device type, new versus returning visitor status, Klaviyo segments, or custom events to show each visitor cohort a distinct experience.
Analytics and data connections
Includes test-level analytics, sitewide performance reporting, and direct connections to Snowflake and data warehouses, alongside native integrations with Google Analytics and Klaviyo.
Best for
- Shopify-based DTC brands that want to test pricing decisions with actual revenue data rather than gut feel
- Small or lean teams that need to run experiments without a dedicated CRO specialist, developer, or data analyst on staff
- Stores ready to move beyond basic content A/B testing and also experiment on pricing, shipping, and offer structure
- Teams already using Klaviyo who want to carry audience segments into on-site testing and personalization
- Brands that want a single platform covering the full funnel — top of site through post-purchase — rather than stitching together separate solutions
Worth knowing
- Requires a Shopify store — this platform does not support other ecommerce platforms, so it is not an option if you operate on a different stack.
- Plans are built from modules: Smart Content is $69 per month at up to 1,000 orders and each added module starts at $49 per month, with 20% off on annual billing; the Unlimited plan with every module starts at $289 per month billed annually and reaches $1,279 per month at 10,000 orders, so budget should be weighed against your current testing volume and expected lift.
- The Unlimited plan requires a three-month minimum, so teams that only need one stage of the funnel may be better served building their own plan from individual modules.
- Although the vendor describes a one-to-two week implementation window and a no-code setup path, getting statistically meaningful test results still requires sufficient site traffic — low-traffic stores may need longer run times to draw reliable conclusions.
- Atlas connects to external AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini); teams with strict data-governance policies should review what store data is passed to those models before signing up.
