NVIDIA Age Of Agents
"Every token is now a revenue unit."
That single line from Jensen Huang's GTC Taipei keynote yesterday reframes how leaders should think about AI spend. For two years, the boardroom question was "what will AI cost us?" Huang's answer flips it: agentic AI doesn't just consume compute, it produces measurable output that maps to revenue.
His thesis was repeated nearly forty times across a two-hour keynote. Agents that observe, reason, plan, and act are no longer a demo. They're running across distributed infrastructure, and every token they generate now ties to a unit of work that someone is willing to pay for.
This matters because it changes the conversation we should be having internally. The right question is no longer "is the AI budget justified?" It's "what is the return per token, and which workflows convert tokens into value fastest?"
The companies that win the next 18 months won't be the ones with the most GPUs. They'll be the ones who can answer that second question with data.
If every token is a revenue unit, can your organization actually measure the return on yours yet?
