KPMG Anthropic Claude Alliance

Big Four firms don't deploy AI to 276,000 people for productivity gains. They do it because the entire professional services model is being rebuilt.

KPMG's new global alliance with Anthropic puts Claude in the hands of every auditor, tax professional, and consultant across 138 countries. The more interesting move is what it's doing inside Digital Gateway, the platform KPMG clients actually use.

The signal is clear. AI is no longer a tool sitting next to the work. It's becoming the surface where the work happens.

Three things stand out. Claude is embedded directly into client workflows, starting with tax and legal, the highest-stakes and most documentation-heavy services KPMG offers. Anthropic named KPMG a preferred partner for private equity, with new Claude-powered products planned for PE portfolio companies. And KPMG Blaze, which uses Claude Code, is being deployed to modernize aging client IT systems in a fraction of the usual time.

This isn't a copilot rollout. It's a delivery model rewrite.

For every services firm watching, the question is no longer whether to deploy AI broadly. It's whether competitors will get to your clients' workflows before you do.

Is this the moment professional services stops selling AI productivity and starts repricing the work itself?
