What LucroVox does
LucroVox is an AI receptionist for local service businesses. It picks up inbound calls at any hour, works through the qualifying questions you have given it, and books the job directly onto your calendar. The intended use is straightforward: the calls that currently ring out — evenings, weekends, or while your team is on a job — get answered and turned into scheduled work instead of voicemail.
You control what the agent says. During onboarding you supply your business details, the script, the qualifying questions, how pricing questions should be answered, and your scheduling rules; the vendor handles the technical setup. There is a choice of voices, and agents are trained on your specific business rather than run from a generic template. The vendor states most businesses are live within 48 hours and that no coding is required.
When a call goes beyond what the agent can handle, it transfers to a person on your team or takes a message flagged as priority, so an unusual or high-value caller is not simply absorbed. Plans are sold by monthly call volume, with calendar and CRM integrations and SMS and email notification on the lower tiers, and white-label branding and multi-location support at the top.
Key capabilities
24/7 inbound call answering
The agent answers inbound calls at any hour, including nights and weekends, using a greeting and script you define for your business.
Lead qualification
It asks the qualifying questions you configure and captures the answers on the call. Advanced lead qualification is a Pro-tier feature.
Job booking on your calendar
Bookings are written straight to your calendar during the call, through Google Calendar or Calendly, so the slot is held without anyone calling back.
Escalation to a human
Calls the agent cannot handle are transferred to your team, or captured as a message flagged as priority — the vendor's stated behaviour for anything outside the agent's scope.
Follow-up and notifications
SMS follow-ups and email notifications are included from the entry plan, so the office has a record of each call without listening back to it.
Field-service and CRM integrations
Connects with Google Calendar, Calendly, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and Jobber, with an API available for systems that aren't on that list.
Best for
- Roofing, HVAC, plumbing, and other home-service businesses where the crew is on site and cannot answer the phone during the working day
- Med spas and clinics that want after-hours booking without staffing a front desk into the evening
- Owner-operators and small teams whose inbound calls currently go to voicemail outside office hours
- Businesses whose booking already runs through Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, or Calendly
- Multi-location operators who need one answering setup across sites, which the Enterprise tier is built for
Worth knowing
- At $199/mo the entry plan sits at the premium end for an SMB AI receptionist — several competitors start well below that. Price the alternatives before committing, particularly if your call volume is modest.
- Plans are capped by monthly call volume — 100, 500, and 2,000 AI-handled calls — so cost scales with how busy your phone is, and a seasonal spike can push you into the next tier. Estimate your real monthly call count before choosing a plan.
- An AI answering your phone is worth monitoring, especially early. Review how it handles unusual requests, complaints, and high-value callers, and make sure the escalation path to a person is one you have actually tested rather than assumed.
- This is a young vendor with limited independent review coverage, and its published performance figures are its own. Ask for customer references in your trade before signing an annual commitment, and use the free trial on real calls rather than a demo line.
- The AI receptionist category is crowded and moving quickly. If you already use a field-service platform with its own call-answering feature, check what that includes before adding a separate subscription.
How LucroVox compares
AI receptionists overlap heavily. The useful questions are how each one charges — minutes, callers or calls — whether it books into the field-service tools you already run, and whether your field-service software already includes one.
vs Goodcall
Goodcall answers inbound calls, books through Google Calendar and pushes lead data into a CRM or Google Sheets, from $79 a month priced by unique callers, with a 14-day trial. LucroVox starts at $199 a month but integrates directly with Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Jobber. Choose Goodcall for a lower entry price and CRM push; LucroVox if your jobs already live in a field-service system.
vs Rosie
Rosie starts at $49 a month, metered by minutes, with booking and transfers from the $149 Scale plan. It suits owners who mainly want calls answered and summarised. LucroVox is built around qualifying callers and booking jobs for trades and clinics, and costs more to start. If modest call volume and FAQs are the job, price Rosie first.
vs Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro is field-service management — scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and payments — from $59 a month, with AI call answering as part of the subscription. If you already run it, check that feature before adding LucroVox. If you want a dedicated agent with your own script and qualifying questions, LucroVox connects to Housecall Pro.
vs Jobber
Jobber is field-service management from $29 a month, with the Jobber Copilot assistant and an AI Receptionist add-on. A Jobber customer should price that add-on first. LucroVox makes sense alongside it when you want a separate agent with your own script and qualifying questions, booking jobs into Jobber.
Most businesses looking at LucroVox are really trying to stop leads leaking out of missed calls. If that is the problem, start with where your leads are actually going — it puts a number on what the missed calls cost before you pick a tool.

Before the trial ends, count your real monthly calls against the caps — Starter $199 for 100, Pro $499 for 500, Enterprise $999 for 2,000 — and test the hand-off to a person yourself. If you run Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan or Jobber, check the integration on your own account.
